Terms of Service

Draft, effective [effective date]

Draft. These terms describe how ftw.trade works today. Bracketed items are still to be filled in, and the terms may change before they take effect.

These terms are an agreement between you and [Operator legal name] (“ftw.trade”, “we”, “us”) about your use of the ftw.trade website, its API and its AI-assistant (MCP) access. By usingftw.trade, or by signing in, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use ftw.trade. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why.

What ftw.trade is

ftw.trade shows market data for Robinhood Chain (chain ID 4663): pairs and pools, tokens, prices, charts, trades, liquidity, holders and wallet activity. We build it from our own index of public blockchain data. Signed-in users can also:

  • swap tokens from their own browser wallet, on the best route our route engine finds across pools;
  • hold funds in trading wallets that ftw.trade creates for their account, and deposit to and withdraw from them;
  • run automated strategies from those wallets, on paper (simulated) or live (real funds);
  • create access tokens that let an API client or AI assistant read their account.

Some of these are switched on in stages, and not every feature is available to every account. We are not an exchange, broker, dealer, investment adviser, bank or money transmitter, and we do not create, list, vet or endorse any token or pool.

Who may use ftw.trade

You may use ftw.trade only if all of these are true:

  • you are at least 18 and able to form a binding contract;
  • you are not located in, ordinarily resident in, or organised under the laws of a country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions (including Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions);
  • you are not named on, or owned or controlled by anyone named on, a sanctions list kept by the United Nations, the United States, the European Union or the United Kingdom;
  • using ftw.trade, and trading digital assets, is legal for you where you are.

You are responsible for following the laws that apply to you, including tax laws. We may refuse, limit or end access for anyone, anywhere, to comply with the law.

No investment advice

Nothing on ftw.trade is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. Rankings, “trending” and “new” lists, labels, risk flags, top-trader lists, profit-and-loss figures, backtests and strategy templates are information and tools, not advice. Anyone can create a token or a pool on Robinhood Chain, including scams and tokens made to look like other assets. Do your own research and make your own decisions.

Market data can be delayed or wrong

Our figures come from our own processing of chain data. They are for information only and can be delayed, incomplete or wrong: a price, a dollar value, a market cap, a symbol, a holder count, a profit-and-loss figure or a pool's liquidity may be missing or mistaken, and a page may show older data while ours catches up. Do not rely on ftw.trade as your only source before you trade.

Your account

You sign in with Google, Telegram, a browser wallet (by signing a message), or an emailed link where it is offered. You may add passkeys (Face ID, a fingerprint, a device PIN or a security key) to approve actions; an account with no linked browser wallet needs a passkey to approve wallet permissions and withdrawals.

You are responsible for:

  • keeping your sign-in methods, browser wallets, their seed phrases and your passkey devices secure;
  • everything done through your account, including by any API client or AI assistant you give an access token to, within the scopes you granted it;
  • telling us promptly at [contact email] if you think someone else has access to your account.

Anyone who can sign in as you, or approve with your passkey or linked wallet, can act as you. We cannot reverse what they do on chain.

Your own browser wallet

When you swap from a browser wallet you connect, ftw.trade never holds your funds or your keys. We find a route and prepare the transaction; your wallet shows it to you, and you sign and send it yourself. You are responsible for checking what your wallet asks you to sign, including token approvals.

Trading wallets and custody

When you sign in, we create a trading wallet called Main for your account, and a Gas wallet that pays network fees (see below). You can create more trading wallets to keep funds and strategies apart, or import an existing wallet by giving us its private key.

We hold the private keys of these wallets. They are generated and kept by a signing service we run separately from the website. They are not shown to you, and a key you import cannot be exported back out offtw.trade. This means:

  • A trading wallet only acts within permissions (“grants”) that you approve with a passkey or a wallet linked to your account, and within the limits shown to you when you approve them. You can revoke them.
  • Trading wallets that use the gas station are delegated, with EIP-7702, to a smart-account contract so that permitted actions can be sent and paid for by our relayer. That contract has not been independently audited. A bug in it, in the signing service or in our software could cause the loss of funds in every wallet that uses it.
  • You rely on us, and on the security of our systems, to keep these keys safe and to carry out your withdrawals. Keep in trading wallets only what you are prepared to lose.

Deposits, withdrawals and limits

You fund a trading wallet by sending to its address, from your own wallet or anywhere else. Send only assets on Robinhood Chain; assets sent on another chain, or to the wrong address, may be lost.

You can withdraw from a trading wallet yourself, to a wallet address you have proved you control by signing a message with it. To protect you, these limits apply, and may change:

  • a new withdrawal address can be used 24 hours after you add it;
  • each withdrawal is limited to $5,000, and all withdrawals to $10,000 in any rolling 24 hours;
  • a wallet cannot withdraw while a live strategy, live permission, resting order or armed stop-loss or take-profit could still trade from it; stop those first;
  • you approve each withdrawal with your passkey or linked wallet, and it is sent once.

Moves between your own wallets have similar per-move and daily limits. While ftw.trade is newly launched, an account's trading wallets may hold up to $5,000 in total for new set-ups, sponsored transactions and live strategy trades; above that, those are refused and withdrawals stay allowed. The app shows the current limits before you act.

Gas

Transactions on Robinhood Chain cost network fees (“gas”). For trading wallets that use the gas station, our relayer pays the gas and then:

  • a free daily allowance per account, paid by us, covers it first;
  • beyond that, it is charged to your account's gas balance at cost: the network fee converted to dollars at the market price, with no markup;
  • your gas balance is topped up in USDG from your Gas wallet, which you fill from Main with “Add gas”;
  • with no allowance and no gas balance left, the transaction is refused and nothing is sent.

USDG in your Gas wallet stays yours until it tops up your gas balance. Gas balance is used only for network fees on ftw.trade; it is not a deposit, earns nothing, and has no cash value. We may change or end the free allowance, and we may cap how much gas an account uses in a day.

Strategies: paper and live

Strategies start in paper mode: they are simulated against market data, and no real funds move. Paper results and backtests do not predict live results. Live trades face pool fees, price impact, slippage, failed transactions and prices that move before a trade lands.

A strategy goes live only when you approve it with your passkey or linked wallet. From then on it trades real funds automatically, from the trading wallet you chose, within the per-trade and daily dollar limits and token permissions you approved, until you stop it or it reaches a limit. It keeps trading while you are away. A strategy does exactly what its rules say, including when that loses money: a trailing stop may sell at a much lower price than you expect in a fast or thin market, or fail to sell at all.

Our safety limits, including a daily loss limit across your live strategies, can stop new buys. They are there to reduce damage, not to guarantee any outcome, and they can also stop a trade you wanted.

We may pause all live trading, sponsored transactions, new permissions and withdrawals at once, without notice, to protect users (for example during an incident). While paused, transactions already sent are still watched, and revoking permissions keeps working.

Risk of loss

Trading tokens is highly risky. You can lose some or all of the money you put in, quickly. Token prices are volatile; liquidity can disappear; tokens and pools can be scams, can be frozen, or can have hidden fees or transfer taxes; smart contracts, routers, bridges and the chain itself can fail or be exploited; and our software, the signing service, the relayer, RPC providers and the other services we rely on can have bugs or outages that stop, delay or change a trade, a withdrawal, an alert or a strategy. You accept these risks when you use ftw.trade to trade.

On-chain transactions are final

A transaction confirmed on Robinhood Chain cannot be reversed, cancelled or refunded, by you, by us or by anyone else. Check the token, the amount and the destination before you confirm. We cannot recover funds sent to the wrong address or lost to a scam token.

Fees

ftw.trade does not currently charge a fee for using the site, for swaps or for strategies. You pay the costs of the chain and the protocols you trade on: network gas (as described above, or from your own wallet when you send yourself), pool fees, price impact and any token's own transfer tax. If we introduce a fee, we will show it before you act and update these terms first.

API and AI-assistant access

You can create personal access tokens for API clients and AI assistants. Treat a token like a password: anyone holding it can use it within its scopes until you revoke it. We may rate-limit, restrict or revoke tokens to protect the service.

Acceptable use

Do not use ftw.trade to:

  • break the law, evade sanctions, or launder or hide the proceeds of crime;
  • manipulate markets, for example by wash trading, spoofing or pump-and-dump schemes;
  • attack, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the service, scrape it at scale, or get around usage or rate limits or the limits on your account;
  • access another person's account, or let someone else use yours to get around a limit or a ban;
  • resell or redistribute our data as your own product without our written permission.

We may suspend or close accounts that do, and report them where the law requires.

Our content

The ftw.trade software, design, and the data we derive are ours or our licensors'. You may use them for your own trading and research. Public blockchain data itself belongs to no one, and token names, logos and other marks belong to their owners.

Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep ftw.trade available and accurate, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted, timely or free of errors. We may change, suspend or stop any part of it, including features, limits and supported venues. If we stop a feature that holds your funds, we will give you a reasonable chance to withdraw them.

Disclaimers

ftw.trade is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement and accuracy.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows:

  • we are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, lost data, or any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of ftw.trade, even if we were told they were possible;
  • we are not liable for losses caused by the chain, a token, a pool, a smart contract, a wallet you use, a third party's service, a market movement, or your own decisions and settings;
  • our total liability for any claim about ftw.trade is limited to the greater of US$100 or the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Some places do not allow some of these limits. Where they don't, they apply only as far as the law there allows. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud.

Indemnity

If you break these terms or the law while using ftw.trade, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs, including legal fees, from claims that result.

Ending your use

You can stop using ftw.trade at any time, and delete your account on Account once your trading wallets are empty and nothing can still trade (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or to protect other users or the service. When we can, we will tell you why and let you withdraw your funds, unless the law prevents it.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by [governing law, e.g. the laws of a named state or country], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes about them or about ftw.trade will be resolved by [courts or arbitration seat for disputes]. Before starting a formal dispute, please contact us so we can try to resolve it informally.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top when we do, and give notice of material changes where we reasonably can. Continuing to use ftw.trade after an update takes effect means you accept it.

General

These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about ftw.trade. If part of them is unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a right, we have not waived it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours to a successor operator of ftw.trade.
